Factblindness

God appears in your life -- a fact.

Someone far away is suffering -- a fact.

Someone abused you in the past -- a fact.

But in your lived life now, none of these are practically relevant to you. Neither God nor the distant sufferer affect what you need to do today as part of your routine, nor (it seems) the plans you need to make for your own life. And the past abuse can never be undone, even if you could confront the abuser, who has moved on with their life and considers themselves to have moved on from the period of life in which they abused you.

So to you it is as though God, the sufferer, and the abuse do not exist. They are facts, but you don't see facts, so, you are factblind.
